Delete a healthcare service

Overview​

This flow describes how to delete a healthcare service from a facility in Care.

Pre-requisites​

  • The healthcare service is set up in the facility.
  • You have the permission listed below.

Permissions​

PermissionAccess
Can Create Healthcare Service on FacilityLets you delete a healthcare service. Facility Admin and Admin hold this permission on the root department of the facility.

Note: Care shows the Delete button only to users who hold this permission.

Steps​

1. Open the healthcare service​

Open the facility. Select Settings. Select Healthcare Services. Select the service.

2. Start the deletion​

Select Delete.

3. Confirm the deletion​

Care asks "Are you sure you want to delete this healthcare service?". Select Confirm.

Expected Outcome​

  • Care deletes the healthcare service.
  • Care shows the message "Healthcare service deleted successfully".
  • Care returns you to the healthcare services list.
