Delete a device

Overview​

This flow describes how to delete a device from a facility in Care.

Pre-requisites​

  • The device is registered in the facility.
  • You have the permission listed below.

Permissions​

PermissionAccess
Can Manage Devices on FacilityLets you delete a device. Staff, Admin, Facility Admin, and Pharmacist hold this permission.

Steps​

1. Open the device​

Open the facility. Select Settings. Select Devices. Select the device.

2. Go to the Danger Zone​

Go to the Danger Zone section at the bottom of the page.

3. Select Delete​

Select Delete. Care shows a confirmation dialog. The dialog warns you that you cannot undo this action.

4. Confirm the deletion​

Select Delete in the dialog.

Expected Outcome​

  • Care deletes the device.
  • Care returns you to the devices list.
